Growth of the "Just Filming" ads

Many ads on leolist. I engaged with one a few months ago, trying to understand. I'm probably not the "cute guy" she wants.
And now I see an ad here too: https://terb.cc/xenforo/threads/free-meet-–-i’m-just-filming-stuff-want-a-cute-guy.893349/
It would be a cool thing to do if it were real. I can't imagine it's real, and I'm now seeing a lot of these ads.
I assume it's a pretext to rob/blackmail people.

The fact that they list telegram as a contact should be a huge red flag. No proof but I wouldn't do it. Not that I am the cute guy she is looking for either. lol

I engaged a couple of them out of curiosity, including that one. All they want is for you to join their OF. Might even be AI answering as sometimes the answers became repetitive. When the other girls started to reply with the same statements I blocked all, lol.

Come on dude, it’s a scam to get you to sign up for their onlyfans. Do a quick search and you’ll see they have posted the same ad in almost every city right across the country.

I've been seeing a lot of posts promoting their Onlyfans as well, with that being the only form of communication listed. If you search their description, you'll find they write the same speel in several different locations.

One girl does seem local where she posted her first year nursing course list from uottawa, but she'll post in Vancouver, Toronto, etc... saying she goes to a school there with the same photos, description and onlyfans link

It's not like I believed it! I was just curious about the nature of this new scam. What's the goal. It can't be very effective, can it?
