Batter up!

The Petrson trial is upon us. I ws wondering how many Terbites think Scott Peterson is guilty? Or innocent? and why.

What looked like a "slam dunk" case may have some holes in it. IF YOU were a juror, could you fry this guy on a capitol case conviction and give him the death penalty?

Anyone who is attempting to flee town with his brothers i.d. and change of appearence has to be hiding soemthing. Didn't he sell off his wife's truck before her body was even found? I say GUILTY! However, the Petersen lawyer would have cause for a mistrial if he were to bring to the judge's attention the amount of unwarranted media attention being given to the case (ie. American Justice Special Presentations).
Personally i think the death penalty lets people off the hook way too easily. Let convicted felons play bitch to BIG BUBBA for twenty-five years. That's justice.

Another American media trial. Yawn.

Besides, I think OJ is innocent and IS really trying his best to look for the real killers. But what do I know.

Guilty who goes fishing day before christmas and just as luck would have it her body was found around the area where he supposedly went fishing.

Also the affair with amber gives him motive.

It's been good to know ya
Most murderers I would suspect would not hide a body close to home or a location that would put the evidence pointing towards them. There has been a few though. I would say there is still missing information that may arise in court. We are the general public and never get the whole story of any issue till it is all over.

SP has been found Guilty and the penalty phase is finished all except for the decision of DP or life in prison without the possibility of parole.

I am waiting with baited breath because I think we will hear today. Anyone else on the edge of your seat?

I'd be shocked if he got the death penalty.....the case was based on circumstantial evidence..without DNA to back that up, i'd say he's looking at life with no parole for 25

It has noting to do with being a grouch. SP has his problems, I have mine. What's the point about fussing over him when I have my life to get on with. Is he stopping to see what is going on in mine?

Here's something interesting they said on CNN:

It's more expensive to give someone the death penalty then it is to keep someone in prison for life. This is because the appeals process can cost millions and it only costs $60,000 per year to sustain a prisoner.

Betcha didnt know that

This is one of the main arguments against capital punishment. Texas has tried to fight that fact by not allowing the appeals process for certain types of criminals, sending them directly to their deaths.

Well it doesn't cost a penny to put to death a crimimal in Canada. Have no time to worry about another country's judicial process.
