Celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival when moon cakes are available. Yummy.
When Mongolians were ruling China, the Hans wanted to rebel and drive them out.
Messages were written and put inside the moon cakes which were passed around, designating the full moon night in autumn would be the start of the rebellion. They eventually drove the Mongolians out. The moon cake became the earliest messaging system in the world.
