I would not take a chance with someone you do not know. Especially if that someone works a regular job like cashier. Chances are, if she is working an h9onest job that she has a work ethic and a sense or morals that does not include sex for pay.

The crime is called communication for the purpose of soliciting the services of a prostitute. Some women do not take kindly to such offers and if so inclined could have you arrested. And besides, where would you shop then? You are better off just asking her out to dinner.

Ya, you've reached a pretty weird place in your life if when you meet hot women instead of thinking "Should I ask her out?" you think "Should I ask if she's willing to prostitute herself out?"

If I am not mistaken propositioning her in public with an offer of cash for sex is a crime anyway, the same one a streetwalker gets nailed with if she propositions customers. I don't think the law restricts itself to criminalizing only offers to sell, I think offers to buy are covered too.

This might be an issue if she gets so offended that she calls the police or something.

I was wondering if you could be charged . Is it a crime to offer money for a one night affair ?
As to why I wouldn't just ask her out , I don't think a 20 yr old would be interested in a 50 yr old.

Somewhere between here and there
Go for it

Just ask them out its worked for me in the past.
Nothing recent mind you but Waitresses, cashier at Dicks Sports Store in Florida, even a front desk woman somewhere in the US.
Remember ask them out not out for sex the sex will come.
Now in saying that I asked out a lady(girl) in California once and she said $200 for a date. This was before I hobbied and I declined. Why pay when the milk is free and all that BS.

Take it slow, be cunning like a fox. This might take a few months.
If you can get a friendly smile when you engage in some small talk, then go the next step.
First see if she's receptive to coffee or dinner, then you're in the henhouse.
Remember, money is the last resort - be ready to get your face slapped or worse.

Dude,

I'm not a lawyer, but I'm thinking that falls under "solicitation", which iirc is illegal. At best you will get yourself slapped. At worst, you'll get arrested.

I don't want to be harsh here, but really...step back and think about what you're asking for a second. Asking a "civilian" to prostitute herself is just a little bit creepy. There's the world of hobbying, and then there's the "real" or "normal" world. For every 20-yr-old who is comfortable entering into some sort of financial arrangement, there are probably a hundred who would be horrified at the thought of partaking in that sort of transaction. Rightly or wrongly, prostitution is viewed very negatively by a lot of society.

I suspect your conversation with her would go something like this...

You - "So, I've seen you here a lot and I think you're kinda pretty. I imagine Food Basics doesn't pay a whole lot...how about you come over to my place tonight - I'll make it worth your while!"

Her - "Just because I'm making minimum wage doesn't mean I want to whore myself out to creeps like you, buster. Now get out of here before I call the cops!"

(no offense intended to any of the SPs here, just trying to present the reality of mainstream society's views.)

I think booboobear may not want to ask her out because:

1. he is married
2. he wants no strings
3. he wants to remain anonymous

Man that sounds like a lot of work just for sex. If you want more than just sex well thats a great way to go about it, but im assuming booboobear isnt looking for a realtionship with a 20 year old. Im not supporting him just coming out and asking a cashier to prostitue herself at all. There are many amazing women in the SP profession that im sure are as cute and beyond. If its all about the fantasy of having a fling get a pro to role play. Id stay away from a most likely awkward situation and just whack off to the fantasy after you get home from shopping. Just a thought

We see sps because we don't want to ask girls out on regular dates , this is somewhat more exciting because it would be like a first time thing.
Lets say I just asked to come over and dance , like strip , is that against the law ? In either case if I offered money for sex and she complained wouldn't she have to prove it or else it's my word against hers.

You have to know her better first then you can judge if she'd find your question offensive.

I think solicitation is only a problem if it is in a public place. So, if you ask her for sex for money in your home you should be OK. However, getting her to go to your home in the first place without mentioning money could be a problem.

You could ask her to come over and rake your leaves or walk your dog to see if she's willing to earn extra money.
Then you can find out if she wants to earn a bit more, this is the tricky part.

It could work. All depends on how you ask I would say. It would be real easy to come off sounding creepy. Much depends upon how you yourself view this 'hobby' and also how you carry yourself.

In the Eastern European countries this sort of thing is relatively common. A young woman in, for example Latvia, would have at least a couple of friends who has at some time spent time with a guy for cash. In other words, there is a precedent.

In Canada (at least when I left-3 yrs ago) I wonder if this sort of thing is at all common. And if it is common, I wonder if it ever gets talked about. There is a such a huge stigma attached to prostitution in North America.

Here in Berlin there is a club called 'La Folie'. It is a small bar where you can go and meet young women who will go in the back (where they have small rooms available) and have sex for a fee. Many of the girls that work there (though not all) are part-timers who drop by for a few hours, after working their day jobs, to make extra cash. It is a bit like a smaller version of the FKK clubs in the rest of Germany.

So here there is a precedent for this sort of thing and, had I the cash, and perhaps a bit better German language skills, I would be tempted to try your suggestion here. Though for some reason many of the supermarket cashiers here are old and frumpy....

I would be careful, for the reasons others here have suggested, of trying this in Canada.

A lot of people who spend a lot of time are in that "weird place" now. Its uncanny. A good friends attractive roommate was approached recently by a guy asking her if she wanted to take part in an adult film. Just walked up to her on the street. Even wirder to me, she thought it was a compliment.

At a bus shelter I've seen ad posters looking for model types who want to work on live webcam sites for $2,000.00 weekly. Where do these people get off putting up posters like this that can be veiwed by minors? What world do they live in that advertising for sex services is suitable for public posters?

I ripped them down and phoned the guy on my cel and told him if I ever see anyone posting that shit in my neighbourhood again I'd kick their ass. He has no idea who I am and that I'm really a limping cringing coward :p

Who knows how many jailbaiters have responded to his ad.

Escorting is an honest job and one that requires a strong sense of morals and work ethic in order to be successful -- especially these days, when word can get around so easily about the scam artists.

But you're missing the point: asking your bank teller or waitress to be your SP, is a lot like asking your mechanic to give you financial planning advice, or the guy cutting your lawn to assess your health symptoms and give you a diagnosis.

When you need a pro, go to a pro.

Whoops! I should probably qualify that -- asking your financial planner for advice on tuning your engine, or your doctor for advice on landscaping would probably be just as ridiculous.

The point is, when you need it done right, go to the experts.

Soft sell might work...

You could ask her, with a smile, if she has ever thought of the idea of having a sugar dady, or, ask her if she would like to have someone to take her out shopping.
