Havlat is in Cleveland discussing with doctors if he should have season ending shoulder surgery.

That would be a big blow for the Sens

Havlat may be out for four weeks with therapy or four months plus w surgery ... in the scheme of things w surgery. He could still be back for play-offs. He is young and team wants to take a long-term view beyond this year. Sens are also youngest in NHL (as opposed to Leafs) ... someone else will have to step up ... team "is" deep w talent. then handed down by the N.H.L. to

Even if they do lose Havlat for the season, the Senators will just plug someone else in the lineup who will go on and score 20 -25 goals. They are so good it doesnt matter. They have to much talent for it to be a huge issue. Let him heal up and come back hopefully in time for playoffs or the start of next season. There is no sence in rushing him back when they have so uch talent already. The Sens will be fine.
