Had a FEMALE friend go there about 5 years ago.

Her best friend works in the travel industry and so they got 4 days at Hedonism, and 3 days somewhere else for free.

I will never forget what she told me......

There are 10 guys for every woman, a complete sausage party.

She said she couldn't even sit down for a coffee and guys were hitting on her. It made her more defensive than usual.

She said, and i quote, "If a guy can not get laid in toronto, what makes him think spending thousands to go to go to a singles resort is going to get him laid"

Sound advice.

I asked her if she did in fact get laid while she was there.

Answer - NO.

The money you would spend on that trip, if it's just to seek out sex would go a whole heck of a lot further in Toronto's money for sex industry.

My advice, travel to travel, if you get laid, it's a bonus, don't travel expecting to get laid.

Yes. I was there a few years ago. It was $2350/week when I went, but it's worth every penny. You can do whatever you want for a week (or longer if you're up for it) One guy stayed down there for a month!

There is a high turnover in guests, which is good. That way you could be scoring with a new chick every night! LOL But seriously, it really depends on the week. The best time to go is when the US colleges have their spring break.

The highlights are Toga night, the infamous pj party, and the hot tub! Put it to you like this, the gift shop sells Roughrider condoms! You can also take catamaran cruises to Rick's Cafe - that's where they filmed part of the movie Cocktail.

The only thing to watch out for is the food. - It wasn't that great with the exception of the beach grill. On the upside, you can get really cheap souvenirs. I got some really cool wood carvings for $50.00 US. It was a steal. A lot of sport oriented activities as well.

All in all, I had a great time.

Agreed, getting lucky at a resort is no easier than anywhere else.

Totally disagree with you on this one Tiberius.
You obviously have not been to Thailand, Philippines, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Brazil, ...
In terms of paying for sex, all of these places blow Toronto away.
There is absolutely no comparison.
It is also much easier to find free sex but the emotional realities are the same as anywhere.
Women are possessive and jealous everywhere even when you are paying but especially when you are not.

Cannondale, go to Thailand or any one of the other places I've mentioned.
Do not stay at a resort. They do not allow guests to bring frineds.

I went there in the early 90's

Guys to girls was more like 2:1

However, I went because it has some of the best sports in the region. Great open air workout area/gym.
Aquasize, beach running, wind surfing, jet ski's, horseback riding and some great site seeing.

The resort is divided into the "nudes" and the "prudes". Nude beach, nude hottub etc on one side and clothed accomodation on the other.

All bars and food areas are clothing required but my god it is absolutely amazing what a well built women can do with a bandana.

The outdoor hottub on the nude side is the size of a swimminng pool, and I must have seen 20 couples go at it in my 6 nights there. Gay guys seemed to prefer the hammocks on the beach and everyone was fucking on the balconies.

All you can eat, drink and fuck. That's the unoffical motto. BUT a hugh percentage of the male/female couples were couples BEFORE they arrived.

Go for the sun, drinks and sports and maybe you will find entertainment. Just don't expect it.

I was at hedo2, with my girlfried this time last winter and had the time of my life.
To answer the question, is it good for a single guy.
Well that depends, if you don't plan on being annoying. The ratio of single guys to girls varies. When i was there it was 10 -1. From what i hear it doesn't get much better than 6-1.
It is mostly couples, who are very open with their sexuality. Tons of bi women. It is the best party that i have ever been to. Bar none.
If you want any info at all, please let me know. We are going back in two months.
