Unless they are in "MINT" condition don't bother.
If the web site says it's worth $25.00 you'll get $1.50 if your lucky!
I have over 50,000 cards. your question is very common.
I usally say just hang on to them a bit longer, or toss them
If someone gave you $50.00 for all of them youd be ahead of the game.
99% of the time non of them would be worth over $.50 -$0.75
most of them are'nt worth the paper they are printed on

value of sports cards

Hi Kara, Be careful when you try to sell those cards. Most dealers will probably only give you 25-50% of catalog value depending on the desirability/collectability of the player and they must be absolutely mint condition. The only way to get close to true value is to find a collector who will pay more. Have you thought about trying eBay? You could set a reasonable reserve to see if there is any interest.

It takes two opinions to make a market.

I have quite a bit of experience trading gold and silver goods (coins are the most fun) - you go to a "professional", and they make their living off of it - they'll offer you pennies on the dollar - so I would try to sell them privately - not to a shark ;)
