Hi Guys

Going to Punta Cana for the March break. Anyone had any recent first hand experience over there. What was good. What was bad. Anything very good or very bad. Good for kids (around 12). Is it safe to travel outside the resort. Mix with the locals etc.

Kinda freaked out at how often a Canadian goes on vacation and comes home in a box. Won't even consider Mexico at this point.

Anything you can share would be great. Thanks.

As far as I see it,anytime you go to a 3rd world country expect the worst.Its cheap for a reason.
