Interesting to see an Asian massage spa pop up in Waterloo. Curiosity got the better of me. Saw an ad on Kijiji, but you can also Google it to find it. Weber St N and King St location in Waterloo.

Park and go in. Girl working reception has to check her schedule to see if I can get a 30 minute massage, even though no one is there. Give her $40 and she puts me in a room. I do the usual routine and strip down and get face down on the table.

i wait what feels like 8-10 minutes when finally someone knocks. Door opens a crack and the receptionist asks if I want a back massage? What? A back massage, a leg massage, whole body massage? Sure let’s go with the whole body massage. she translates in mandarin for a women on the other side of the door and then this women comes in. Immediately puts a cloth over me and begins massaging.

Massage was pretty decent, but not even a hint of a tease throughout. Get to the end, she says “okay” and quickly leaves the room. No suggestion of a flip or asking for a tip or anything.

So while this place looks and feels like the usual massage parlour, it isn’t. It’s actually legit. Massage wasn’t that good so I won’t return. Don’t bother unless this is what you’re looking for.

I heard they have recently gone more legit.
I went when they first opened, a few months ago.
First time, got a topless hj.
Second time, with a different MPA, got a body slide.
Haven't been back since, but like I said, I've heard they've gone legit since then.

Well. For $40, what did you expect would happen. All MP’s are legit for $40 lol.

Not my first rodeo lol. I expect $40 for the door fee to get into the room for 30 minutes, and then I’m happy to generously tip her on the flip depending on what menu items get offered and agreed to. However this time she vanished before I could even turn over. Sounds like it started off this kind of service and has changed.

Have been a few times recently.
They are certainly legit now. No more funny business.
However, Nancy gives an amazing massage. Hard or soft, she's great.
They also provide osteopath receipts, so if your insurance covers osteopath, you're in luck.

Maybe I have bad etiquette, but I’ll usually just toss them $240-$280 right from the get go and tell them “full hour please”.
So far I’ve never left unsatisfied, though I can’t say I’ve been to any spots I’d consider full legit.

Tried Lulu.
She only works there Friday and Saturday.
Very good massage. On par with Nancy.
All legit.

Nancy has returned to her home country.
However, Annie will be working more days to fill the gap and Annie is very good.
Very similar style to Nancy, but also speaks pretty good English.
It's a legit massage, so go in with realistic expectations.

Checked this place out Wednesday for the fiest time. Never knew it was there. Dropped off somebody for an appointment at the university, and this location was 5 mins away, so I gave it a try. Walked in, the front desk girl was cute, asked for 30 mins. She asked if I had insurance. (My provider wasn't on their approved list.)

The attendent was an older Asian woman. She gave a rushed but decent draped massage. Her technique was ok. Too much forearm and karate chopping, not enough kneeding and deep tissue work. (I would say Ye at Jia's is my favourite for masages.) She toweled me down and told me she was done. Very legit. $50.

Would I repeat? Perhaps in a month or two. I like the location, but the massage could be better.
