History issue

Bless my wife and her meddling friend.I just got done sweeping my system with CCleaner(heavy wipe..7 times).That gets rid of the files(short of someone REALLY good pulling them back).When my history is deleted can that be pulled back from somewhere to?If it does, does anyone have any idea where from?..and a good scubber i could use on that?I'll just add this to my daily routine.I'm running Windows Vista home edition.Nothing to complex.Any information would be appreciated.

never leave your iphone/ipod unattended. it keeps all kinds of deleted emails and things. hint: go to the search screen and tyoe in a word from an email you deleted weeks or months ago. don't be surprised to see the complete email again. i don't have a cleaner for my smart phone. i'd like one.

Apple isn't the only one that does that.
M$ and Linux do the same and store all you past emails, various files and such in 'backup logs' buried deeper in their respective OSs. You may think you are deleting them and clearing out your history but they remain hidden in the OS and can easily be opened if you know where to look....:eyebrows:

I swept my Drive with CCleaner and will do so from now on.Just wondering if my website history log is being taken care of to?

Clear the cache and temp files from your browse(s) BEFORE using CCleaner. It also doesn't hurt to run the system cleanup tool then hand delete any leftover files from any TMP or TEMP directories before using your scrubber. This may be a little excessive but better safe than sorry.
