Yes, I am fully aware that this may not be everybody's cup of tea, but just if wondering anybody else out there (other than myself) gonna go check out the Fan Expo at the convention centre this weekend?

costume dressups, celebrities, comic books, sci-fi....what more could one ask for?!?!

I attended last (free tix) and it certainly is an interesting experience. This years "celebrity" lineup looks a little weak though. If you don't like being around a lot of dudes and/or nerds you best not go because the exhibit hall will be full of them.

I got a kick out of seeing the vintage stuff like Planet of the Apes lunch boxes, and classic Star Wars action figures in their original packaging!

And if you plan on buying stuff go on Sunday afternoon around 3:00pm when the exhibitors/dealers are about to close shop because they really don't want to haul their goods back and so they're very willing to deal.
