Hi guys


Just wondering how many of you are home theatre freaks and what you have in your house now.


I am do for a hole new system of have some stuff that i bought 5 years ago Technics reciever, Sound dynamics speakers, this stuff is okay but its time to step it up a notch.


So the questions is what do you have or what would you like to have.

Dont wanna spend more than $2000.00 on a reciever and about the same for speakers (main, rear,centre,sub).

I was thinking onkyo reciever and klipsch speakers?

There's a nice set of B&W (Bowers & Wilkins) speakers for sale now on eBay. it's a little higher than your $2000 benchmark but IMHO it's worth considering.

Thanks they look good but i am not one for buying used stuff, and i would never spend that kinda of money without being to hear them.

I have owned 3 diferent high end Yamaha Receiver and love them. For the money I think they are the best.
I also use Paradigm speakers. Canadian made so the price is lower for the speaker you are getting.

Honestly I find Klipsch are over rated. I have owned B&W as well and loved them but the comperable speaker in Paradigm was quite a bit cheaper.

Just my 2 cents.

I would steer you away from onkyo as I don`t think its much of a step up from technics, if at all. You could do better than klipsch as well.
