sorry it's been a very long time since i have made a visit what would be a few choices that you would suggest.

The Admiral & Visitors are SP friendly/tolerable, if you want to be near downtown/busy side of town.
The Staybridge Suite is new to DT Hamilton.
There are newer locations on the mountain The Marriot/Upper James & Best Western - Stone Church.
On the East/Lakeside, there are the Holiday Inn off the QEW and the Comfort Inn.
I would avoid the Sheraton & the Crown, they require permission for guest entry and parking is a nuisance.

The A - Admiral Inn is a location that many SPs choose. Clean, good parking and friendly.
The V - Visitor's Inn is not frequented as much by SPs but still good. I always book at the V if I am hosting a lady. They offer day rates, discrete parking and includes Hustler TV.
Days Inn on Main E is relatively new but the walls are paper thin. SPs host from there also.
