How do you find out what your current status is on your license ?

ie. How many tickets have you had filed against you?

List of convictions ..

Get a Drivers Abstract from the MTO/Licensing Office, I'm not sure if the Kiosks still produce them also.

Thanks alot .. If you pull a drivers abstract, the insurance won't find out or anything right ? Plus, what about pending traffic violations .. does that also show up on the system ?? (abstract)

the insurance industry is wired into some sort of system with the ministry and if your name shows up they get notified. I don't think an offense goes on your record till there is a conviction. Anything pending in the courts should not show on your abstract.

You don't know? The tickets were given to you, correct? Do you have memory problems? Can't count that high?

I think you can get your driver's abstract from their online website.

There was a link around here for doing a plate trace online I seem to recall it being there as well.......

Correct, they couldn't show pending cases or charges because one hasn't been convicted of anything...yet.....hence why we supposedly have an "innocent until proven guilty" clause in our charter......

and no, the insurance company wouldn't be notified that you printed off an abstract, they have no reason to be. They do however print them off periodically to check on your record. I don't know for certain but they probably check one's record whenever your car insurance is up for renewal.....
