How Do You Search Terb?

I'm not sure where to post this so apologies if this should be posted somewhere else.

Is there any page on this website (or anywhere else on the net) that explains the different way you can do searches on TERB? Some of the things I want to know are:

- How can I do a search for an exact phrase verbatim, so that it will only show threads with the exact phrase and not just one of the words of the phrase?

- How can I do a search so that the results only show posts with a number of different required search words and not simply one of them?

- How do I do either of the above, while simultaneously searching only posts from one particular user?

- Are there any possible ways I can do searches of girls with three letter names? I know people are always posting this simply can't be done, but I'm just wondering if there are any tips to get around this problem?

Thanks for your help.

Likely on Twitter
1) As far as i know, you can't
2) As far as i know, you can't
3) As far as i know, you can't
4) its tricky, but not always impossible - if it is an agency girl, the name + agency + "review" can sometimes work.

Reality, is the search function on the default vbulletin software is pretty weak overall. If you are searching for something, you'll sometimes have to dig a bit. If you're looking for basic stuff like reviews it works fairly well though. girls name + agency + "review" works most of the time. So does girls name@agency + review.

The problem I'm having is that if I do a search using both the name of a girl and an agency it returns all the results containing either of those terms but not both, meaning that every single thread that even mentions that agency is included, including 99% of the threads that have no mention of the girl I'm looking for, so it's really an insane amount of stuff to look through and it would be so much easier if there were some way to only get it to show results that only contain the girl's name and the agency.

Likewise if I recall a particular user wrote a review it would be great to search in a similar way - only posts by that user mentioning that particular girl. I'm very surprised there's no way to do these things!

1. Go to Google
2. Type in site:terb.cc and whatever term you want (including three letter words)
I experimented this method but unfortunately it didn't seem to be comprehensive at all, e.g. if I tried searching for a really popular girl that should yield hundreds of search results it would generate less than five... Nevertheless I really appreciate everyone's help on this. If anyone else has any suggestions please let me know - thanks.

None of that stuff has worked in many years. In the early years you used to be able to search an exact phrase by placing it in quotation marks, exclude terms with a minus symbol (-), include multiple terms by typing AND in capitals, and the wildcard feature which let you search 3-letter names and words by ading an asterisk to act as a dummy character (for example Lee*) and then you get threads in which there letter sequence "lee" occurs by itself or in any part of a word. These were common comands that worked in many search engines before "advanced search" forms were common.

IIRC all that stopped working properly right around the time you joined. Although I gave uo a couple of years ago and haven't tried. But it doesn't work on any other site that runs this versionof vBulletin either.

Thanks Hard Idle... this helps a lot. I was trying all those things you mentioned before I posted here and figured I just didn't know the correct way to do these types of searches.

But sadly it appears there's no way I can do any of that and so no way to search for girls with three letter names, no way to search for posts using multiple search terms and no way I can search for specific girls without getting every other post in the history of TERB that contains all the other girls who had the same name! :(
