I don't know if i'm posting this in the right spot, My laptop is really old and I have windows 7, I have to do a one page document for work, I did a search on how to download it and every time I tried my virus program told me it is blocked, any help on how to download the program would be appreciated.

I have an old Windows 7 computer that I upgraded to Windows 10. I keep getting a pop up to try Windows Office for 30 days free. If you can not wait, try open office. It all depends what you need to do to this document. If it is a simple modification to the document them maybe a free online word processor can do it for you, search on Google.

my boss gave me a sheet with some questions to answer, my printing isn't the best so I thought I can use the computer so he can read my answers

I'm not an IT guy but perhaps turning off your anti-virus program would help?

That being said, I'm surprised that Microsoft would allow you to download that program for free. There may be something shady about the site you're trying to download from and that's why your virus program is picking it up.

If you want the software perhaps it would be best to just pay for it.

Good luck.

You can torrent just about anything including Office, but that's quite messy especially if you're not a technical person.

Try using Google Docs, which is totally free and it's online so there's nothing to download and it can also open Microsoft Word documents in .doc or .docx format. Just open a browser and go to http://docs.google.com. You can save the file as a Word (.docx) format for your boss. It doesn't have all the features of Microsoft Word on your PC, but it should be fine for what you need it for. There is also a Google Docs app for your smartphone and tablet.

You mean, how can you steal MS Word?

As others have said, download it through a torrent application.

it's not messy. any normal person in the 21st century should know how to torrent.

here's a tutorial for windows.

if on mac like me, just download transmission, install it, and use the sites i listed above to search for MS word and download the torrent. it will open in transmission. run the installation. sometimes you will need to run a crack or keygen but i think most ms word torrents come cracked already.

here's ms office 2010 > https://thepiratebay.org/torrent/12...P2_X86_X64_Pro_Plus_VL_MULTi-15__Generation2_
The OP is having issues downloading anything because his anti-virus is acting up. So he likely wont be able to download a torrent application. Even if he can get a torrent application working it would still take some time (depending on how fast his internet is) to download Office. All that for a simple task that should only take a few minutes. IMO, it's not worth the time for such a small task when Google Docs is always available and free and should do everything he needs.
