Looks like a great phone. Loving HTC Sense 4, very sharp, clean and minimal. Pity on the lack of SD card, was one of Android's differentiators. Are Android users moving away from SD cards to the cloud?

As I understand it the lack of SD cards because of the way file transfers are done. At least this was the case with the galaxy nexus. The newer phones are using MTP instead of the USB key (don't know the technical term) type of connection. Apparently that makes using an SD card a problem. I almost didn't get the nexus because of it, but it was suggested to me do I need more than 16 gigs and the answer from all my previous phones was no, not even close. So I decided to get it.

Of course, we’ve learned countless times that all the specs in the world don’t make for a great device — it’s a marriage of hardware, software, and ecosystem.

See, it isn't just me ;-)

Ah, thanks for clarifying. Windows Phone is also going this way. I suspect its to avoid the problems that come with how Windows Phone handles SD cards.

I can get by comfortably on 32GB, wish the new Lumias offered that.

The HTC comes with a free 25GB Dropbox account....that could be reason for not offering SD support.....save a couple of bucks on manufacturing

Only for 2 years. I think its more of a kick back for HTC and clever campaign for Dropbox.

Get them hooked then take it away unless they pay. Smart.

If you take public transport, are sitting in a waiting room, taking a flight or similar situations, it's awesome.

So why can't they add 32 GB and increase the price by $40?
