A number of escorts post restrictions on who they see - whether it be race, age or just size. I think most of us agree that it's their bodies so it's their call.

But then there's the lesbian yahoo that wanted a mens haircut in a moslem barbershop - you know the story.

With escorting becoming more and more part of the mainstream, how long will it be before some yahoo decides to file a human rights case agains one of our girls? I'm kind of surprised that no self-righteous type hasn't tried it already.

This topic has been discussed at length on this forum. A search will probably turn up the discussions for your reading pleasure.

+1 ... it's a tired and exacerbating topic and from an escort, it's both a frightening and pathetic issue that any man would even consider filing a human rights claim against a girl who didn't want to have sex with them. Even if SPs begin to require licenses and the government decides to get involved heavily in the industry... I don't think they would ever provide any regulations about escorts having to uphold human rights by reducing their selectivity when choosing clients. I think if anything, the government would come down on B&S operations first! Nobody likes blatant false advertising with human trafficking and sex slavery as undertones. :)
IF the SCC appeal is successful and the government regularizes sex work it would be prudent for them to create an exception for this field in the various codes.

Oh God, here we go again on this subject. If babypowder sees it just wait for the mayhem to ensue.

On a less serious note, do I need to fear prosecution because I have a strong preference to not do business with escorts from a certain visible minority? Could I be compelled, under threat of prosecution, to pay my money to a lady of said minority and also be obliged to insert my penis into her vagina to prove that I am not discriminating? And obviously no response required to the absurd :D

i doubt if anyone would be forced to provide a service to a particular race they find offensive. but they sure could lose their license. i'd expect so. unless there are some exceptions in the charter of rights as of now. and it wouldn't be a "yahoo" taking this on. it would be someone who thought it was important. if the barbershop gets away with it, what about restaurants? personally, i'd like some of the places i eat to exclude certain people too. i don't like to sit beside them or use a washroom after them. i'm talking about smokers. they stink. let's start with them.
