If the TTC union staged a slowdown, would anyone even notice?

For the last few days, I've noticed the buses on my route are running in convoys instead of being spread out.

This is something that the A.T.U. generally pulls as part of its work-to-rule campaigns. By running in packs, they can maximize the wait time between groups of buses. Is it contract time, already? They may have lost the right to strike, but they haven't lost the will to fuck the public.

I'm not sure what buses are along your route, but I haven't noticed any differences in the frequency of buses along my area, nor have I noticed any differences in subway frequencies.

The bus drivers have it made now. No strikes. No layoffs. No discipline. Try driving beside one on the street. at the speed limit. it will leave you behind. where's the ttc supervisors enforcing the schedule. i once read that the biggest problem is the buses won't stay on schedule. a few suspensions would straighten that up. and while we're on them, how did the bus driver who crashed last week get away with declining a ttc drug test? what kind of test is it if it's optional? decline means guilty.
