I came across this little GEM (JAlbum) while searching Google for some JavaScript. There are countless Photo Album applications out there but this one deserves a close look. The one thing I know you will like is, IT’s FREE!
JAlbum is feature rich with a skin based GUI developed with an open source approach. What really knocked me out was the legion of enthusiastic supporters/contributors dedicated to this products success. When I downloaded it I felt like I was joining a family.
The first thing that tells you this product is unique is no installation is required. You simply drop the files in a folder and launce it by clicking on the .jar file or batch file. You can also pass parameters to it by launching it from the command line.
I created the following albums of my sisters in all of 5 minutes:
Album 1 -Album 2 - Album 3 - Album 4 - Album 5
