What is the precise function of the "Ignore List". I have been told by a moderator that a PM cannot be "ignored" in the sense of being blocked.

Are you saying that the name of the PM sender IS NOT seen if he/she is on your ignore list? If such is the case, the ignore list would seem to do you less good than not using it because you might wonder who the PM is from if more than one person is on your list.

i once used ignore becuz someone's sig pics grossed me out. the downside was that i couldn't read what he had to say, so i didn't use it very long. it just helps you edit out what you don't want to read/see.

It JUST blocks any posts that the person on your ignore list makes. I had a person on mine and they were still able to send PM's to me. I just ignored them as well.bigmoe69er said:No one has yet answered the simple question of what the ignore function specifically does.
