Well my fellow asshats (aka Terbites) I think this is more or less it for me. I've been coming here less and less and I think it's time to move on. I'll drop by occasionally, but I likely won't be here for a while. People come and go in this biz. Many times one wonders "whatever happened to ______ ?" While I'm certainly not feeling an overinflated sense of self, I thought it would be nice to say farewell, thus this post.
I came to TERB a long time ago; back when the web was a new thing (Netscape was the only browser available at we surfed at 28.8 kbps speeds) and the only agencies that actually had websites were Select (still around though under different management), Budget Escorts (long gone) and later Allison's Adoring Angels (also gone but not forgotten). Kayla ran a different site that everyone flocked to when TERB went through its Great Crash. And The Red Zone was a phone service where you listed to the ladies' ads.
How times have changed!
To FredZed - a heartfelt thanks! I've enjoyed TERB through the great times and the less than great times. In an odd way I've learned a lot through TERB and through the hobby. TERB has been a good part of my life and I thank you for starting and maintaining this board over the many years. May you always enjoy freebies
and Good Karma!
To Sheik - the Deleted Threads Repository does so exist. So there! ;-) You've always been a passionate warden of TERB. It's often thankless work but you're always at it and I admire your dedication to the task. Keep at it bud!
To Strongbeau - the man who went from zero to a zillion posts in what seemed like a few days. You are an inspiration to TERBites and you are a gentleman. I tip my hat to you.
To the rest of the Mods - you're all farking asshats. But here's to you and the great job you all do!
To Goober ... well who the hell is Goober McFly anyway?
To everyone else - keep posting those reviews! It's what this place is ultimately about after all.
Lastly - to a very special lady named Michelle. I'm not even sure if you're reading this board still but I wanted to say that even after all this time, you still maintain a special place in my heart. I'm glad that our paths crossed and I'm honoured to have known you.
And so ... that's all folks! I won't be around to take care of the ass slappings so to you from failing hands I throw the torch. Be yours to hold it high.
