Image Inside Email

I used to know how to do this; but, I forget how it's done since it's been a while.

Does anyone know how to put an image inside an email from Rogers email or Google Gmail. Not as an attachment but as something that's directly inside the email.

Something about making it text rich or something?

you should be in HTML format (View tab). Any images you insert will show up inside the email, even animated gifs

I'm in HTML in Rogers email and in gmail I went to "Rich Formatting" rather than plain text; but, I can't figure out how to copy a jpg file on hard drive into the email in either email format, ie either Rogers or Gmail.
Used to be able to do this buy can't remember how it's done anymore.

Try attach -> picture instead of attach -> file. in the e-mail. That might work.

That won't work. I just checked Rogers Yahoo and you don't get to choose. The attach command simply allows you to select a file, then it attaches it. I think what the request is asking for is how to insert the picture rather than attach it like you can do with outlook or windows mail.

Could you create the email in Word / Outlook & copy everything & paste it into a new message in Gmail?
