Today I drove into Toronto, and spent another hour because the Gardiner is closed from Humber. When I drove back an hour later(sic) I noticed that there were no- nada - nil - zero - zip - activity on the closed Gardiner from Bay st to Humber.
Is somebody taken us for pussies?

Fresh asphalt was laid and the paint needed time to dry. I know cuz I drove over it this afternoon.... oooh nice!

Why doesn't somebody develop a line-painting truck that has a final unit after the paint nozzle that has a high output heat fan that flash-dries the paint onto the road surface (which would also make it more durable if baked into an enamel-like finish)? You'd think the hassle saved in road closure time would make up any small cost in the first day used....
