Looks like Videoton has just entered the Quebec cell phone market with a new lower cost offering. Apparently Bell has 40% marketshare in that province. So they will have to react. Are they now going to be offering cheaper services in Quebec then the rest of the country? How will they explain this? Pretty interesting stuff.

There have been a few low cost cell phone companies in Ontario but enough restrictions on the phones and services to make little real threat to the established big boys. One company required you to use their phones (no iPhone / Android support) and another didn't even have the coverage in Mississauga implemented yet.
