definitely a thick squad of rookie talent in the nhl this season... though, i don't expect too much from Carter early in the year... his ohl career started late also...
personally, i didn't like what i saw in calgary's team this year. kipper doesn't look like the same goalie he was in '03-'04. i think this article way over estimates calgary's potential. i think chicago will have a better year then calgary and ottawa will be canada's top team come january and vancouver will be canada's best team come april...
i do agree with the predictions about the leafs... people here on terb like O'neill, Allison and Lindros and see them as a stronger team this season, but i can very easily see all 3 of them out of the lineup with injuries come april... i hope i'm wrong... i also think they should have got more AHL snipers (having shootout experience) to assist in those ever so important shootout games...hey, every point counts- and will be needed by the leafs if they hope to finish above .500... it also would've helped to get some more speed and youth on the team
