Today is International Sex Workers Day, also called International Whores Day.

Today is the day to mark the 1975 strike by sex workers who occupied Église Saint-Nizier in Lyon, France. These sex workers were tired of the inhumane working conditions, stigma and police brutality they faced on a daily basis. We have come along way but not far enough.

Please show your respect and pay tribute to your favourite sex worker today!

I probably wouldn’t be the person I am today if it wasn’t for sex workers. They are silent force that hold societies together and promote humanity and our fundamental human rights.

I'm so happy to be part of the sex work community. We have a long way to go but I thank these protesters for what they did. May we keep protesting for as long as we need to - for sex worker rights, LGBT rights and the humane treatment of POC.

Due to Cate Blanchett being in it, I started streaming Mrs. America - FX truly is fearless. I would have lost interest at the first sign of wokeness, there isn't any.

I've streamed five episodes, I had no idea that the drive for Equal Rights for women was such a slobberknocker of a fight. Cate Blanchett plays Phyllis Schlafly the leader of the anti - ERA movement. She's already defeated herself by allowing racists and the creeping presence of the KKK into her organization. Of course incels are driving down it's rating, it stands at 7.7, it should be at 8.5 at the very least.

Two scenes are telling, the Schlafly family portrait and what Bela Abzug endured while defending Willie McGee in Mississippi. While posing for the portrait Phyllis find out that her eldest daughter has changed her name. When asked about it the daughter says, "I can't escape you, I'm public enemy No. 1 on campus". Bela Abzug talks about her defense of Willie McGee with Gloria Steinem. She says that the death threats were constant, she had to live in the attic of a bordello for protection.

The sad part is Americans are still fighting over the same issues currently.

Someone who obviously hasn't seen the series singled out Elisabeth Banks for praise - leaving out Tracy Ullman. Jill Ruckleshaus (Banks) is booooring, her episode the weakest so far, Ullman is unrecognizable as Betty Friedan. Rose Byrne's portrayal of Gloria Stienem threw me - now I know where Annie Hall came from. She plays Steinem with a nasally drawl, did she actually speak that way? She loses the drawl as the series progresses.

I hadn't heard the theme music in decades, Ludwig Van lives.
