Internet Ad Blocker

Any suggestions as to the best ad blocker? I use Ad-Aware but it doesn't work "live", it only cleans adware and spyware that gets dowloaded.

My browser is Opera 7.51, running on Windows ME.

Panicware makes a good free pop up stopper if that's what you're after. It blocks most of the pop ups out there.
Getting rid of spyware? Spybot Search & Destroy and Spysweeper are two of the best tools out there IMO.

I highly recommend that you get the google toolbar. It is very convenient, as you can do a google search any time, without going to google's homepage. In addition, it's pop-up blocker is first rate. I've had only a few pop ups since I installed it.

opera (not the free version) has it's own pop up blocker.

Firefox blocks ads as well. And, like Opera, it isn't as vulnerable as IE to all the hijacking and malicious activex controls.
