I need to get an unlocked GSM phone for an upcoming trip to the UK. Once there, I will get a SIM card from a UK mobile provider like T-Mobile. I understand this is a lot cheaper than using a Canadian cell phone and incurring international roaming charges.
I have been browsing the iphone clones on CL which all have dual SIM capability. Like these:

I realize these clones are nowhere near as good as a real iphone, but at least they look sort of cool and the price is right. Has anyone had hands on experience with any of these clones? Do they really work - i.e. phone and email? Will they break apart after a week or a few days?
