What would be a better music player? I have an ipod nano already but I hardly use it, it is a 4gb. I'm thinking about buying a zen now after reading dreamblades post earlier today, i'm not too sure if the volume can go really high with the zen. What do you guys think is the better buy, to buy a zen or too stick with the ipod nano? thanks for your suggestions in advance.

If you don't use the iPod, what makes you think you will use the Zen more?
The Zen has an FM tuner. When I decided to get an inexpensive mp3 player for on the go, I didn't get an iPod shuffle because radio was important to me. One possible reason.

If that isn't important, then a Zen is no better than the iPod you currently own, I don't think.

I have a Zen - and find the interface and much more difficult to use than the ipod. you cannot fault itunes and the ipod interface. And now that I have a touch you would have to wrestle me to get it away.

Ditched our Ipod shuffle for a 4 gig Walkman. No need to deal with proprietary Apply shit anymore. Love the Walkman! $114.

Just to clear up my preference, I have a 2nd gen 8 GB Nano.

But to echo an earlier post, if you don't use it now why buy something else? The FM tuner is nice, and being able to record radio would be cool (CBC Radio One on Saturday mornings, yay!) but if you don't use it then you're better off dealing with what you have.

My 2 cents.
