I honestly don't think Mango Mussolini will go and invade Greenland. I mean, technically it belongs to the Kingdom of Denmark, which is a member of NATO. An attack on any NATO member is an attack on all, so Article 5 could see the NATO defend Greenland from the US.

Trump/Project 2025 wants to colonize North and South America. To do this without opposition, he will allow Russia to start expanding into Europe, and he will allow China to start expanding South and East. The US/west has bungled soft power in Africa, plus it has black people in it, so he'll leave that to China or Russia.

Honestly, it's time to arrest Danielle Smith and Scott Moe and start organizing militias and teaching guerilla tactics.

Seems like a lot of effort when I can just sit on my couch and wait for it to happen organically. Why would we be treated badly when we become a part of their country? Do they treat Ohio badly? How about Arizona?
You won't be part of their country. You will be Puerto Rico. You will be a "snow mexican".

Look at the rhetoric and actions already playing out around Blue Cities and Blue States. If they're willing to burn their own people (see "night of long knives" for historical context), think of how they'll treat non-americans.

And if that wasn't convincing:

How did they treat Iraqis? How did they treat Afghanis? Do you know what the Banana Wars are?

All you're doing is making a strong case to join the US before they invade us so we'll fare better. Joining willingly will be much more cordial than making them take us by force. If it's consensual we'll have established political and legal protocols as opposed to being subjugated.

I'd argue with you, but you're clearly not very bright.

The US invaded another country and kidnapped their leader. We're not living in a "cordial" world, nor one governed by "established political and legal protocols".

Like I said, you are free to try and emigrate to the US right now. Leave Canada for Canadians.

In a sane world I would agree with you.

Venezuela was not a country, it was a failed socialist experiment
the average Venezuelan has lost weight due to food shortages and the complete ineptitude of its socialist leadership.
1/3 of the population left because of the complete ineptitude of its socialist leadership.
Venezuela was once the richest most prosperous country in South America before the socialists turned it into a nightmare for its people.

No, Venezuela was screwed over by american sanctions.
Its ridiculous to argue that you think Venezuela's population will be richer with american's stealing their oil revenue.

I know you're being obtuse, but you love to take everything literally.

Venezuella has a constitution, a military, a currency and a stock market. Saying it's not a country is asinine.

All of a sudden you care about the welfare of others? So tell me, what is the best way to feed hungry Venezuelans? Like let's say you had a couple of million dollars to throw at the problem. Strictly utilitarian morality, how do you help the most Venezuelans:

(a) drop some bombs on the country, kidnap their president, leave them to figure the rest out
(b) Drop a bunch of big boxes of food out of a helicopter.
(c) establish foreign aid programs: stabilize their domestic production, storage, and logistics. Work to establish safe, efficient distribution. Monitor programs once they are established?

Finally, yeah, VZ went through a major upheaval, but they are (were) recovering and growing:

The ex pats complaining were rich enough to leave at the start of the reorganization, so stood to lose the most. This attack is the US securing oil reserves, and further gaslighting their population (and you specifically) into believing that socializing natural resources can not work.

so wait, is Obama a good president, and Trump doing what Obama did good, or is Obama a bad president, and Trump following him is bad? You can't have it both ways.

The Libya operation was also bad. Obama says it was the worst mistake of his presidency. So with the hindsight of history, trump just repeated Obamas worst mistake, and you think that's a good thing?

Truly the Conservative brain will absorb any amount of cognitive dissonance.

There's a difference... both are dictators...one was left on the streets to deal with the mob...the other will be put on trial...so who really is following due process here? The question here is...the liberals were not rallying for Libya... I also don't recall conservatives on the streets defending Gadaffi...lmao...
