As mentioned, it was not my intention to redirect attention away from you and your circumstance!
I think, while there may be similarities in each of our feelings about the topic of your thread, our circumstances do differ!
If I read correctly, you entered your relationship knowing about your wifes predetermined condition!
I, on the other hand, enjoyed an initially exciting sex life with my wife. Her problems in attitude towards sex started long before her health problems! As with a lot of women, once children enter the scene, the overwhelming maternal instinct often precludes a continuing healthy sex life! By the time chidren are grown and on their own, the menopausal effect takes over! Now stir in the health problems! Sex and enjoyment of same becomes a non starter!
Thus and thus and thus!!

Addendum To The Above!

Just for the interest of the ladies who may read this!
At no time while the Mrs. was undergoing her health difficulties, did I feel, emanate or otherwise display to my wife any feelings or attitude of revulsion towards her as a woman!
I do know that some husbands have great difficulty in dealing with the issue of breast cancer and mastectomies, if that is the ultimate procedure to save a life!
Many husbands give rise to their own conjugal problems because of their perception or idea that their wife is something less of a woman!
A woman in that circumstance does not need any reinforcement along that line! She has her own difficulty dealing with her thoughts that she may now be perceived as something less than a complete woman! Indeed, most women in that situation perceive of themselves as such and need a supportive husband!
Just needed to say that!
