Matt Stonie has over 9 million subs on youtube. He makes videos doing food challenges but all this eating can't be healthy. Unless he works out everyday.

No not healthy at all. Remember the guy who did Man vs Food I think his name was Adam Richman. He had to stop doing eating challenges on the advice of his doctor. He was causing damage to his heart which would have been irreparable if he continued doing it.

This toughest part of this challenge for me would have been all those cokes. So much gas would have bloated the hell out of me.

This kid must be 18 or 19 and can eat a lot for now. But what happens when he turns 25-30, when the metabolism slows down?

Yeah, I was gonna say, Adam Richman almost died.

I had a buddy who used to have a lightning fast metabolism. We’d go out to the Pickle Barrel or something and he’d get a burger and fries, an appetizer, dessert, then get another burger to go and eat it in the car. Then we’d stop at a convenience store to get snacks, he’d get a bunch of candy and beef jerky, and sometimes a sub (the convenience store near my mother’s place used to have a Subway in it way back in the day). Guy had to have been putting away 5-6000 calories a day, every day. Never worked out, never exercised at all, he’d just play video games all day. Never gained a pound, he was whip skinny up until he hit 30 or so. After 30, his metabolism slowed way down. Now he’s very overweight, looks terrible, very pale and unhealthy looking, and has a ton of chronic health problems. He’s also now added a rather heroic intake of alcohol into his diet. I don’t think he’ll make 50, if I’m being honest.

This guy may be able to get away with eating like that while he’s young, but it’s gonna catch up with him, probably pretty quickly.

I usually have Greek Salad with deep fried fish instead of chips. It keeps you full much longer. The price of halibut is skyrocketing, one piece will now run you $18.00. It's still worth it, no other fish tastes better deep fried.

In the later episodes of Man vs Food, Adam Richman started throwing up regularly, his brain rebelled against his effort. It was a very popular show which kept OLN going.

I actually prefer Haddock deep fried over Halibut. And its quite a bit cheaper. To each their own I guess.

Paradise by the dashboard light.
Matt seems to be a unique guy though. He studied nutrition in school, he works out 5 days a week, he eats healthy a lot of the time outside of training and challenges and it took him years to perfect his skills. He said he used to be in a lot of pain and get bloated and dehydrated but now knows how to combat this after his food challenges and he takes his job and health seriously. So I think he's probably a lot better off than some competitive eaters. He also donates to charity provide food from his youtube earnings because he knows not everyone has such access to food.
explains why he's pimple free

Matt Stonie is #3 on the IFOCE rankings, behind only the immortal Joey Chestnut and newcomer Geoff Esper. He beat the great Joey Chestnut in the 2015 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest by ingesting 62 hot dogs. He has 17 other eating records , ranging from bacon to birthday cake. He is not a large person, being about 165 lbs.
