A good friend of mine loves Tidal, which started in Norway but unfortunately is now US majority owned, but not by that douche bag Bezos. HiFi oriented, if you’re into that.
Stingray is Canadian, I think. I like their variety of music.
The content is a bit too American for me on Spotify, Amazon Music, etc. Sometimes you hear more Gary Lewis and the Playboys than you do Beatles on the 60's channels.
I find it hard not to support US companies in this sense because the distributors of the specific track can be from the US anyways, I use spotify just for the functions it has.
A girl I see who’s really into music got me into SoundCloud, based in Germany. You can use it for free if you don’t mind the ads, but you don’t get all the functionality.
She also swears the sound quality is better than the others.
