As I was watching Ben Mulroney awkwardly struggle through yet another episode of Canadian Idol tonight, I soon realized just how tealented and speacial Ryan Seacrest really is. Mulroney (I wonder how he landed this gig) has all the wit and charm of a Somoan warthog, constantly trips over his own words, never has anything witty to say, looks about as comfortable as a black guy in a police line up while hosting the show and never seems to time the comercial breaks right.
At least the producers of the show should get that other black haired guy as the host. He's genuinely funny, knows how to play to the fans and seems very relaxed in front of the camera.
Luckily at 8pm tonight I was able to watch Ryan Seacrest in all his glory. He really is an incredible host. Perfectly timed jokes, his ability to make the contestants and those in the audience feel at complete ease, does'int take himself too seriously and is an attractive gentleman who looks like he belongs on tv.
If I were a girl, Ryan would be the kind of guy I would like to date. He's funny,well spoken, has beautiful blond hair,attractive, makes me feel relaxed and at ease while watching, laughs at himself.All the qualities that one should look for in a boyfriend.
Hopefully come july 22nd, i'll get a chance to meet Ryan at the ACC when the American Idol final 10 perform a concert for all us AI fans.I'll finally get a chance to talk to Ryan and tell him how i've developed the non-sexual crush on him. I just hope Ryan does'int get disturbed at the fact a 23 year old male thinks so highly of him.
