Jewish Community Centre Bloor & Spadina(Health Club)

I use to be a member of the health club there a few years ago before all the renos started. Now I hear it's all done. I know I could just stop by and take a tour and I will... but thought to ask here if anybody has been inside since they finished it. How does it look? I was thinking of joining again so now that I hit the big 50 from now on I can start to get younger with each passing year instead of older.

Seriously... I pretty sure I do want to join again... just need a little tiny push. So anybody been inside? Any chance of meeting a nice looking red head with an X5 or an H2 there?

Wondering NiteHwk needs to know.

Why not join the YMCA, they have a bunch of locations around Toronto.
They also have much more equipment than a regular gym. They have a pool, basketball court, squash, free weights....etc.

I joined a few years ago and have never looked back

Do you have to be jewish to join the health club ? I am moving to the area in a few weeks and looking for a place close by to work-out. Or better yet to meet a nice brunette with a lexus or mercedes SUV

The JCC is a great place to work out. It has a number of great classes including spinning, yoga and pilates. They have a great service where they actually clean your workout wear for a few extra bucks a month and provide you with big fluffy towels. I like that no one under 13 can work out without adult supervision. The only thing I don't care for is that my cell phone reception is bad in there, there are not enough hot single men working out and I really don't care for there being the windows that everyone walking south on Spadina can look down and watch us all working out. Also the classes are at really bad hours for me.
And just for the record... I do have red hair and I drive a nice car!

I like the location of Jewish Community Centre better. If I was to join the Y the only one I would be using is the downtown one. And frankly the last time I went there I did not like the locker room antics going on.

Yes for those that asked... anyone can join.

Oh and the towel service... yes if you join on the executive level the towel service and other extras there are great.

Besides... now I know there is a least one redhead with a nice car at the Jewish Community Centre that does it for me. I'm there!

i've heard that from so many dudes who work out at the y. gay love is great, but i don't need to see it while i shower.
