Hey all,

I am hoping some of the more experienced gentleman on here can offer me some advice. I am in my early 20s and have been studying medicine. Due to some health issues and financial issues in my family I have left medical school (I was in my 2nd year) and returned home to help out with making money for the family. I have a bachelors degree in medical sciences and a fair bit of retail work experience from before med school (during university and high school) and am trying to figure out how I can make the most money as possible now so that, hopefully, I can return to school in a couple of years. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Especially "holistic" health and wellness. Make sure that the attendants you hire are all really hot.

With your background look at community / school health and nutrition programs. There are a lot of those that pay reasonably well, require little or no experience, aren't too hard, look good on a resume, and usually operate on a 1 year contract basis. (You might have a hard time getting that contract renewed for a 1 year program though.)

edit: /\ Local Health Unit, Local Municipal Government, Local School Board. If you have an 'in', good, if you have and 'in' and sad tale, better, if you have none of those it doesn't hurt to try.

Failing that the resource sector is still doing fairly well... The mines and tar sands need lots of warm meat despite the slide in prices (Which are still comparatively high). They pay out the ass. You might be able to get on office job or health and safety gig with your education.

Look at being a rep for a Pharma company, you can make very good money calling on Drs until you are one....
