Is it most likely they'll do an autopsy?

The more I hear about things like this the more I figure I should enjoy myself while I can.

Very knowledgeable individual, a great loss. Thumbs up to Rob Faulds, for still calling the game.

I was at the game on Sunday and I stood and cheered for Delgado in the 7th, as many others did.

But just like everyone else sitting in the stands, we had no idea about the John Cerutti situation. I found out after the game when I got home and was incredibly stunned. The Bandit is spot on in his praise of poor Rob Faulds. How heavy must his heart have been while calling the game solo.

Since I was at the game, I didn't watch it on TV or listen to Faulds but I do have a question.....what explanation did Faulds give regarding the fact that he was calling the game without an analyst?

The news of his death was released after the game was over. 44 years and natural causes is very hard to take.

Very few knew anything at all. A few of the upper management at Rogers were made aware, and they couldn't tell anyone. They also made a decision not to let any of the production crew know as well. It would've been almost impossible to do a broadcast, and have everyone keep their composure. Faulds had no idea about what happened until afterwards.

it's true that Faulds and the rest of the crew probably couldn't have made it through the broadcast knowing that John had died. I'm still wondering what Faulds said on-air to the audience about Cerruti's absence though. Surely the audience would've wondered why Faulds was calling the game by himself.

On a happier note, Tom Cheek has made it clear that he has every intention to continue calling both home AND AWAY games for the club next year. That's just awesome news. Let's hope his health allows it.
