Hi, being influend by "zog.", "pool" and "anon1's" comments in regards to a deleted thread, I have been thinking alot about the topic of politics of sex(uality) ...
First of all, I do not intend this thread to "revolve around me", just in case some of you think that I am starving for attention. All I want is to get a better understanding of the mentality of why or why not sex is political-sized.
Secondly, in a certain thread, "pool" stated that "race and racism should be discussed openly and not hidden and brushed aside ..." (something like that). And thanks to his comment, I have taken the liberty of posting a thread especially for this topic.
Thirdly, I love the fact that TERB is full of perverts and "fucked up" people of all varieties. And that includes sexual orientation, sexual preference, ethnicities and religions. Therefore I am sure we can have a very vibratant and interesting discussion.
Lastly, I know "race and racism" is a very sensitive and "controvertial" issue to talk about. Nonetheless, I am sure we are all open-minded enough NOT to "play the race card" if someone posts a point that is "controvertial".
Anyway, here are a few questions I want to ask:
As an Asian, I like non-Asian girls. Similarily, "White" members like Asians. Is there something political about this, meaning, like someone else has said, something to do with the "Madamme Butterfly" syndrome, or the Shakespherean attitude that "Orientals" are "childlike and innocent" ? And since many cultues are obsessed about "youth and innocence" it is sexy to be just that, and to "Whites", they find these so-called attributes in "Orientals"?
Another thing I have been thinking about is "skin color and BDSM". Yes, I am an Asian dude who enjoys submitting to a "White women". Yet, someone may regard this as something that is "politically incorrect". Would it then, be better if I was a dom having a White women on a leash and collar? Or how about a Black women whipping and spanking a White man? Or a Black man whipping and spanking a White women?
And lastly, why do we feel that inter-racial sex to be highly appealing? I do not know why, but many of my personal fetishes revolves around inter-racial sex and dominance.
