If I wanted to send money to Mexico. To a certain someone(family). How would I go about doing this? Not having any experience doing this, I am unsure. Will it go to the person or will it get opened up before it gets directly there. Will it be shared? Should I send it regular mail? money order? Any helpful info, pm me please

Western union is likely the way to do it...www.westernunion.com
You can then see what they do about Mexico... I'm pretty sure they have money transfer services available in Mexico(they are so global)... Other than that, I wouldn't really know what you'd want to do... Sending cash through the mail isn't a good idea, especially internationally...

Hope this helps Shauna

The latest rumour had it that the retired Indy is actually hanging out  in Mexico. Shauna was down there, used his services, and now trying to figure out how to "pay" Indy.....

I've also had money sent through American Express and Thomas Cook in the form of travellers cheques that can be picked up on the other end. Also, your bank should be able to do a transfer if they have the bank account info (I know this works to the States). All depends on the commission, Western Union is $$$$!
(Done a lot of travelling where I ran out of money ;)

Another tricky way is you can "pay" anyone's credit card if you know their number and a vendor willing to use their machine. Then they can use the card as a debit account of sorts.

I think Indy takes Paypal, too.

Yes but these aren't really options if someone got robbed or something drastic like that and needs money ASAP...

I've sent money to Mexico through Western Union. They will need to know the name and address of the person you are sending to of course. A hotel address is fine. Their number is 1-800-235000

You guys are too funny. If Indy was in Mexico, do you think I would be here in chilly Kitchener, Instead of on the beach with him...
Thanks guys for your help. WU seems most logical.
Choron I know you didn't mean any offence but I am not that blonde to send cash in the mail..lol

Shauna....take it from an Ebay expert....go to Continental Currency Exchange at the Fairview Park Mall (U should know where THAT is) ;) and they will help you fully and completely.
