I have just got banned from a different board because I called out a shill review and the moderator banned me for questioning why I got banned? What a joke. I use this board for visiting SP's in the GTA and have never had any of posts deleted. This other board I am referring to has more interaction in the KW area by board members so I use it when I don't feel like driving too far. I hope that other board members from the other site will start to engage more here so that we don't have to use that other board.

I know, I know ...... this is an old thread, but I too got banned from that other not mentioned board. I joined there cuz, as Scrub1 said, there seems to be more interaction and I enjoyed reading stuff from a number of people I liked. I got banned and the reason was multiple handles. I had posted a lengthy opinion trying to stick up for myself after the, I think, owner *h**e, commented on the thread I commented on to say to the person I was replying to, "to just ignore people (meaning me) since that is what I do (meaning *h**e)". Anyway, since I didn't want to appear to be checking if anyone would agree with me, I wondered if I remembered the handle I had originally joined with and hadn't used in I am not sure how long, maybe years. Anyways, they have a system that seems to using IP addresses or whatever during login (not tech savy enough to know all) and marked me with multiple handles and as such I got banned. The return date or lifting date is NEVER (LOL). SO as Hacket suggested, I created another account using a different browser so I could check if he deleted my posts. I was able to get in and see and found no additions but my post (which was quoted twice) was still there. SO I figured I would transfer my login to the browser I usually use. I guess my mistake was that the browser I usually use had been checked 'to remember me', and when I started it, it logged in ato for me with the banned handle. I logged out and logged back in with the newly created account and instantly was 'caught' and labelled as now 3 handles (LOL). So this is just some info for you and Hacket and others.
So now I am back here, a place I spent a lot of time having fun reading the fun stuff from Calloway (who in the company of a number of special SP's I saw when talking with them and Calloway's name sometimes was brought up by them, I would say who knows who Calloway is, maybe I am <grin>), or CEO or Art (with fond thoughts), I am hoping maybe we can still have some fun here playing golf, or teasing each other or whatever. I remember Art had PM'ed me and told me who was who at the other unmentioned board and why he left. His reason was the same as mine for posting that long reply there and at the end, telling the owner, *h**e, that he owed me an apology. Well since I was a bit of a fool with not wanting people seeing I was checking for a reply, I got banned for multiple handles and never gat to deal with him and the apology I know I would never have gotten.

Anyone who looks to that board for actual information is pissing in the wind. You are going end up wet and unhappy. And likely stink. The whole place is a corrupt shit show thanks to mods and admin who completely abuse their power and a board owner who does the same, plus uses people personal info for his own gain and amusement. For example, he emailed his entire membership, pretending to be Fred Zed emailing a warning about passwords on TERB. He's a child. I said as much on that board and was not only banned, but my IP blocked.
No doubt the other board is a shit show. I only frequented the site since the changes here. Look at the forums here for Guelph.. 3 threads in the last year. Cambridge not much better.
If TERB would have listened to us about the silliness of breaking up a region separated by 15 minutes in to 3 forums.. They wouldn't have sent us all to the shit show board.. and maybe they wouldn't have lost advertisers either. Why would you waste money advertising in this ghost town?

Well said. I have said it before myself. Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Brantford should all be in the same region
I agree with you and nlt76 and WestCoaster. Also the way these are handled on the main page is different from the rest ie. when you check on main forum page you can see the most recent post for almost all others except for KWC and Glph. Is Fred Zed still the main man here? I do see some posts by Lynne Ha and a few of the other ladies, but it isn't the way it used to be ..... ah well. Maybe a few can try and make a rebound here. I don't hobby as much as I use to, age has a habit of catching up with one LOL.
This place is nothing like it once was. The admins fucked up big time. They were warned and now they got what they deserved....nothing. And a dead waste of time board.
I would rather have more members contribute on this board. I rarely see any censorship on here as opposed to the other board. Madame P**cekeeper and the other mods censor so much over there it is ridiculous. God forbid you say anything about a pink lady.
There is not much advertising in the KW section either by SP's or agencies. Check the post click amount. All of us need to make this section better!
