I was with Bell for like 10 years. I have an apartment and the trees grew so tall that it obstructed my dish. So i had to cancel my sattelite service, i still had phone and internet with them. Then i was told that i was getting a special rate for bundling my services, and that if i chose to cancel tv, then id have to pay more for the other 2.

So i switched to Rogers, ive only had services for 2 months i like them better in some ways. But some things are better with Bell. I just added Playboy tv, and was told that to have it on 2 separate tvs id have to pay the fee twice. Im like WTF, they said thats how they do it, ive never heard of this before. Being with Bell they only charged me once for receiving it on 2 different tvs.

Has anyone else been told this. Or is the sales rep, just misinformed?

Unless the Playboy Channel has different rules from other channels in the Rogers lineup, my money would be on the sales rep being misinformed. Ask for a supervisor.

well I switch from Bell to independent provider. I was also a long time customer of Bell. But I am paying like 90 something a month before for internet/landline. Move to fibrestream, and that cost is only at around 50 a month. I dunno about tv, my building provides it with rogers. It's included in the apartment fee with the digital boxes.

For me personally, I am so disgusted with bell/rogers high pricing. They are really shit if you compare with any of the US service like verizon and AT & T

That does not sound right. Rogers hired a lot of new staff in recent months. Recently I updated some of my services and the rep
screwed up big time. I didn't notice until several days later the rep accidentally canceled my call display
and v/m when she was updating my account.

I ditched cable TV in favour of one of those streaming media devices that come with a remote control and hook up to your TV via HDMI allowing you to view content online.

Fuck rogers and fuck bell, both of them should stick to laying cable to my house and stop pretending to be content services. Their content is awful and overpriced.
