When are heads gonna roll with these Provincial Liberals.

No one has been held accountable for the gas plant fiasco!!
She says she has changed things..new regime and all!
Blarney!

Now we have Metrolinx. While she is head of Transportation in this Province, her agency is sending people to TIFF concerts...and major events....spending 10 s of thousands of our tax dollars.

What is she doing about it as Premier. Making changes she says..tweaking....transparency.
Blarney.

When is accountability and head rolling gonna happen.

I'm no fan of the Liberal government, and I'm not defending what happened at Metrolinx.

But I'm not really that worked up about this story. Maybe I'm missing something, but this strikes me as small peanuts.

I do think we should question what goes on at Metrolinx, particularly when it is making horribly flawed arguments on behalf of the Wynne government about the need to raise taxes/fees. It may very well be time to scrap Metrolinx.

But I think any decision about Metrolinx should be based on its effectiveness (or not) as an agency. The TIFF thing is a bit incidental.

They're all just on vacation until Ford stops screwing with the plans.
Until then, who knows what plans to work on.

Oh come now, Frank! You gave Harper over 7 years of corruption and business-as-usual in the senate before circumstances forced his hand (circumstances beyond his control, cause, you know, he got caught, right?) so that now, kinda, maybe-sorta-but-really-halfheartedly they are considering the maybe possibility of the senate reform he previously campaigned so stridently for. Give the lady a chance to catch her breath, willya?

The Presto Card program, estimated by Metrolinx at $250 million has grown to over $750 million and counting. http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/sunnews/straighttalk/archives/2013/08/20130821-073930.html

McGuinty out and the Crypt Keeper in - At least her brother in-laws job should be safe until the next election.

I think it is very important, but very dull.

This is just more proof these Ontario provincial Liberals are bad, real bad and must go.

There is no good reason why the province needs another bureaucratic department. What exactly is the Minister of Transportation job? Stuff like roads and transit right. Then why do we need Metrollnx.

I could be all wrong about this. Maybe Ontario does not have a Minister of Transportation. Just why cannot that minister do that job?

okay Frank, your outrage over the Liberals is well documented here...but here is a bone i will throw at you, the Cons are planning to sponsor a private members bill supporting Ellis Don, in trying to end a 50 year, negotiated, collective bargaining unit, using a closed union shop in their construction projects, now there is talk that the Liberals will support this Bill.....now does EllisDon contribute heavily to the Liberal party, gee what do you think the answer to that is?...oh and guess what?, members of the late Don Ellis,s family are directly involved in the Liberal party..i dont hear you railing against this Frankie................oh i forgot..its union bashing at its best..something you are for i would guess.........

Maybe they should just complete construction of the infamous gas plants.

My understanding is that they are both partially complete. (Have they been torn down??)

Anyway, there a lot more to governing than the Gas Plants.

That said, it is probably time for a change in provincial leadership from the liberals to someone else. The liberals have been in long enough and change is always good.

The alternatives are either Hudak or Horwath ...
hudak would be a horror show..and i lost some respect for Howath when she welcomed the odious adam Giambrone to contest a by election when he clearly cut the legs from out of the original candidate..a real piece of work..
