Really Retired.....REALLY!
I used to LOVE them when I was a kid.
One of their albums was the first tape I got as a kid when I was 9 yrs old with my first walkman, I played that tape so much I completely wore it out.
LOL

That was Mark Holmes, he was born in Manchester. Kenny was from Scotland, and never lost his Scottish accent. He was down to earth and didn't have to put on any airs.

Kenny had always been a rock fan, this song is from his second last album, Clear

Even more than A 1 player, I was not a fan at all. That said it's too bad, I just have never seen the appeal of illicit drugs

Drug death= looser
Could you please tell me exactly where you read the official report that his death was due to drugs?

If you can't, then maybe you are the loser just following along mindlessly with the crowd.

That is an opinion, not fact. Just because you didn't like their music or style, doesn't mean the rest of the world agrees with you. They had multiple platinum albums, and still remain popular today.

Kenny recently started singing a few of the old songs when he was performing in clubs in Toronto and the positive feedback was one of the reasons they were going to do a reunion.

And if you are going to insist on using the word loser, at least learn to spell it properly. Otherwise it makes you look like the loser.

I was speaking with their drummer (Chris Steffler) on Tuesday night. Chris was out with him last Friday night at the CD release party and Kenny didn't touch a drink - he told me that Kenny was in great shape, has not been drinking in years, let alone taking drugs - although the autopsy has not been performed (at least the findings haven't been released), it looks like a heart attack. He was found in his bathroom, water running and a toothbrush in his hand.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a lot of consumption in the 80's, but back then, who didn't?

Timbit

And sorry Big Dogie - I have only gotten to know Chris in the past 3 years - didn't know the other guys.
