Keygen help

Can anyone offer some advice on how these registration key generators work? I am trying to activate a software package I downloaded. I can get the trial going OK, and there is something called Keygen - EDGE with it but I can't get an Authorization code to work.

Do I just keep generating new ones until one works?

You can keep trying, but if after a dozen attempts or so it still isn't working, I'd pretty much assume the keygen doesn't work with the version of the software.

Beware though that you just ran a peice of software on your computer that some hacker/cracker wrote - zap that puppy with some antivirals and run a good spyware/malware checker on your system as well.
