Ladies, what does it mean when a girl tells you you are too nice?

I've had the hots for a young Venuzuelan girl for almost a year.
We went out for coffee once and talked. I thought it went well.


The next time I saw her I gave her a wallet because she said she lost hers. Since it is near Christmas and I believed it would make a good gift and show thoughtfullness. She accepts the wallet with thanks and says she likes it very much, but says that she is not interested in dating me because I am "too nice." What does that mean ladies?

You're right Annalee. But some women can't distinguish between the adrenaline rush they get from their dangerous past time and what is really best for them. Guys are no different though. How many guys would pass on a reasonably good looking, sweet girl to date the dancer who's going to wear the leather mini-skirt to dinner with your parents. You know it's going nowhere, but it's fun while it lasts.

In the end, you look for nice and hope you get someone that at least has a naughty streak in them

Some one posted earlier "if I had a dollar..." Never mind... if I had a nickel for every time I heard that one... I would be a millionaire. Or how about "Your just like the brother I wish I always had" It's getting to be that I just cringe now whenever I hear that or anything similar. I am not going to change though... (Not sure I could if I wanted too) just to get 'lucky' etc... more often. Ok… I am a little more ‘hard nosed’ then I use to be but my basic make up is still ‘Mr. Nice Guy’. I am who I am. One thing I have learned over the years though is to walk away sooner then later. If, in my mind, thoughts or feelings I am looking/hoping to bring a friendship, acquaintance or whatever to the 'next level' and I start hearing stuff like that... I walk away from it. Use to be in the old days I would hang in there... do the right thing (in my mind at the time) and be the ladies good friend. In the long run though I just end up getting hurt...and/or even just taken advantage of. So now... I walk.
