Man the summer went by fast!!!

My plans are like always of course, at the trailer and fishing. Gonna be a pain in the ass on the water this weekend with all the people but hey - what can you do?

Campfires and s’mores, napping on the sun chair on the deck. Still have to get my back tanned. My lines are fucked this year. Keep forgetting the sun screen while fishing and I don’t usually stand so there is no sun on the back of my legs. LOL.

So what are your plans? I’m sure some are going to the air show based on the other thread. Some are also hitting Wonderland.

How are you going to spend the last long weekend of the summer?

Not much. BBQ tomorrow evening at a friends place. Get ready for my mini vacation later next week. Work on Labor Day. Perhaps a massage in between.

Standard procedure. Everything bagel with a coffee tomorrow morning. Foreign weekend newspapers. Gym and sauna. Maybe take the old car out and get it up to operating temperature.
DAB beers.

Once I get the household chores done, catch a few rays and a few drinks in the backyard - I avoid the local beaches because of too many people on a long weekend and maybe meet with a friend for a coffee later in the day. Of course to make it a perfect long weekend, meeting with an SP to make the end of the day a good and relaxing one.

Racing at Flamboro Speedway tonight, family gathering tomorrow, airshow on Monday.
Was hoping to catch some OHL pre-season action.

Air-cooled car?
No, it is just short drives kill cars. They do not charge up the battery, and by the way a weak battery is hard on your alternator(highway drives with accessories off are best),the oil and transmission fluid does not burn off the condensation or the contaminants and the exhaust is more like to rust out.

Expanding the flower garden. Not my idea. According to Fitbit, 581 minutes of exercise (depends on HR) and up to 4,400 calories burned today so far at 4:30..hoo hoo!

I would have preferred the beach.
