they cut off the charge section of the docket posted outside the courtroom now. you can only see the name and how many times that name is listed. they just use scissors lol.gordw said:it was a good one! I think it was 17 girls and 23 guys, 20 get to go to 'john' school! Again, I believe street level and all because of drugs!!!! that is the problem they are trying to handle! Just go look at the docket for courtroom number 5 on Elgin street, they should be stillon the wall. from to-day or ask for the docket for this day! that has real names and it is a matter of public record. Sometimes it can make for interesting reading. Like, hey , I know that name, it's my neighbour; or you're kidding little suzie is doing that now?????
Is it me or this is somehow cryptic?legos_256 said:I called this one before it happened (on that other Ottawa board), but my post got yanked, so I won't repeat their URL.
Got to keep that senator gig though.AnotherGuy02 said:Dr. Wil Keon, a well known Ottawa area cardiologist was "outed" for being in john school. I believe he was a senator as well at one time. I'm not sure if this is who you're talking about but I didn't hear anything about him moving. He did however step down as head of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.

I know it's off topic Ric but it was originally in response to a post about a public figure being arrested for soliciting and the embarassment it caused him.ricflairjuniour said:Special interests should read:

The guy I was thinking of some local municipal figure in the late 90s; can`t remember his name (Bagwell, Bagnell?). Apparently with Dr. Keon his excuse was he was just talking to the girl and not propositioning her. Maybe it`s true, maybe it`s not. It shouldn`t change the respect anyone has for him. But I wonder how far that excuse would fly for the average guy.AnotherGuy02 said:Dr. Wil Keon, a well known Ottawa area cardiologist was "outed" for being in john school. You're referring to Willy Bagnel, then Chairman of Ottawa's Board of Trade, who couldn't control his willy.ottawasub said:The guy I was thinking of some local municipal figure in the late 90s; can`t remember his name (Bagwell, Bagnell?). It`s too bad that they get so gutless about these things in public. Take the upcoming strip club by-law which is nothing but a thinly veiled attempt to put the clubs out of business because two councillors (Legendre and Brooks) think they`re "immoral". I usually have a lot of respect for the guys like Chiarelli and Hunter, and I`m sure they realize that this is grossly unfair, yet won`t stand up against it fir fear of being portrayed in the next day`s paper as supporting strip clubs rather than defending businesses from harrassment.JPsoHot said:Willy B. and most politicians are human toooo.........I am sure when you get them behind closed doors they can be pretty ronchy and digusting like the rest of us!!! Yes, this is a perfect example of how political correctness and the new puritanism silences anyone with a more tolerant point of view.ottawasub said:It`s too bad that they get so gutless about these things in public.
