Well you knew this was coming.
Al-Qaida openly ridicules Dubya and his neocon nincompoops for their failures, bragging Dubya's demented policies only made Al-Qaida stronger world wide. By going off to Iraq, Al-Qaida was left alone to re-group, rebuild and re-train in Afghanistan and now Al-Qaida claims they will be coming back with a vengence!
Thanks Dubya for making the world a less safe place!......:(

BAGHDAD, Iraq - A new recording Friday attributed to the leader of al-Qaida in Iraq mocked
President Bush as a coward whose conduct of the war was rejected at the polls, challenging him to keep U.S. troops in the country to face more bloodshed.

"We haven't had enough of your blood yet," taunted terror chieftain Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, identified as the speaker on the tape.

He gloated over Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld's resignation, claimed to have 12,000 fighters under his command who "have vowed to die for God's sake," and said his fighters will not rest until they blow up the White House and occupy Jerusalem.

It was impossible to verify the authenticity of the 20-minute recording, posted on a Web site used by Islamic militants. The
CIA said technical analysis was being conducted on the tape.

Al-Muhajir, an Egyptian also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, boasted that al-Qaida in Iraq is moving toward victory faster than expected because of Bush's mistakes.

White House spokesman Tony Snow said the Bush administration had no comment on the tape.

The tape and its often far-fetched claims came as the U.S. military announced the deaths of five more service members in the 44-month-old conflict, which has grown increasingly unpopular at home. Twenty-six American service members have been killed in Iraq so far this month.

At least 59 Iraqi civilians were killed or found dead Friday as the violence threatens to spiral into all-out civil war. In one of the day's bloodiest incidents, a suicide bomber in an explosives-rigged car killed six Iraqi soldiers he had lured from behind a checkpoint.

Just hours earlier, Iraq's army said it captured the Egyptian leader of an al-Qaida cell in Anbar province, an insurgent stronghold.

The audio message appeared to be an attempt to exact maximum propaganda benefit from the results of Tuesday's midterm elections, in which the Republicans lost control of both houses of Congress, in part because of the war.

Al-Muhajir praised the American people for handing victory to the Democrats, saying: "They voted for something reasonable in the last elections."

He also said Bush was "the most stupid president" in U.S. history.

"We call on the lame duck not to hurry his escape the way the defense secretary did," al-Muhajir said in reference to Rumsfeld's resignation as Pentagon chief on Wednesday.

"Remain steadfast on the battlefield, you coward," said al-Muhajir, who took over leadership of al-Qaida in Iraq after Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was killed in a U.S. airstrike in June.

"We will not rest from our jihad (holy war) until we are under the olive trees of Rumieh and we have blown up the filthiest house — which is called the White House," al-Muhajir said.

Sticks and stones...

12,000 fighters... all in Afghanistan...tending poppy farmers.

I still think this al Qaeda business is way trumped up out of proportion. If the US left Iraq, the Sunni would clean them out in 3 days.

hell, al quaeda doesn't need to ridicule dubya, he does a right fine job of making HIMSELF look like an ass on a daily basis. To be truly contrarian, they should have said they LIKED bush and that voting against him was a big mistake that wont go unpunished, yada yada yada....

Oh man, you have found out about me and all the Democrats! Drat!

The truth is, OBL came to our houses on election eve (kinda like Santa Claus) and promised us all 72 virgins in heaven if we vote against the Shrub.

THAT was a bargain that no one could refuse.

This was different than the last election, where OBL released a video before the election, and everyone knows that he wanted the Shrub to be elected, so all of those right-thinking Republicans voted for him.

OBL is quite a clever guy.

Ok.....glad we got all that resolved!!!!
Now back to the thread topic.
It seems Egyptian newspapers have another take on the story.
Egyptian newspaper Al-Masri al-Yawm has quoted Mamduh Ismail, a lawyer of some credance, as saying he met al-Muhajir, also known as Sharif Hazaa, or Abu Ayub al-Masri, in Tura prison in Cairo, where he has been held for seven years.
possible AQ...BOOGA BOOGA...going on here?

"Sharif Hazaa [al-Muhajir] is in Tura prison, and I met him two days ago while I was visiting some of my clients," Ismail, a lawyer known for defending Islamist groups, told the newspaper.

That doesn't surprise. Associated Press is the usual channel the CIA uses to disseminate coloured NEWS stories. I've been watching the AP releases lately and it's interesting how they differ with global news on may key issue topics, such as Iran's supply of weapons into Iraq, and promoting the idea of Iran the center of global terrorism etc. The war party's ministry of spin seems to be throwing a lot more coals on the attack-Iran fire in the last week. Three news stories in the last 2 days that i read are fine propaganda examples of why attacking Iran is still in the cards. The war tom-toms are beating with increasing tempo. The boys in the back room still have their agenda. The new sec of defence was connected with the Iran Contra crew. New actor, same agency.
