Back in the mix.
I was there tonite.

It was really brutal. But I would lay most of the blame of Trevor Kidd. He looked stoned out there flopping around like a fish not knowing where the puck was.

It's ALL the Montreal fans who jump on and off the bandwagon. I'm a Toronto sports fan for life, win or lose. When they sing Na, NA, Na, hey, hey goodbye...I think it's poor sportsmanship. Yeah they sucked tonight, but they actually outshot Ottawa.

man that was brutal, I missed it, but when they lose I dont generally like to watch the highlights, especially bad losses...

so does this all mean New Jersey will beat them 7-1 at home too? first Philly, now Ottawa? hmmmmm

Here and there
<-- Not a Leafs fan, but it's interesting to note that immediately after the Hall of Shame game (Phila 7 Leafs 1), the local six went on an amazing tear...

Interesting point. Also, the Leafs don't play out of their time zone for the rest of the year with the majority of games at home.

Is this where the Toronto media starts pushing Gary Bettman to give out points for the team that out-shot the other?

Oh, BTW, I was LOL at Alfredsson when he broke his stick on a shot, and faked throwing it into the crowd before dropping it on the ice. Priceless!

Good game. *stifled chuckle*

not fair to lay this one on Kidder, 4 of the goals were pure defensive blundering allowing Ottawa to score on an open net, they have to be there to clear the puck that is not the goalies job.

We have 8 regulars out - Kidd played 3 games in 4 nights. It was an anomoly in the season. Plus look at what happened the last time we got blown out in Philly.

I almost forgot -- Its the regular season

I thought it was 5 regulars out. Ottawa had 5 regulars out. If Quinn was stupid enough to put Kidd in, in this situation then maybe he should be fired!

Remind me, how far did the leafs get in last years playoffs? Oh, I remember now, they got their ass kicked in Round 1.

A classless move in my opinion. Alfredson is a jerk.

I never said it was proper, or nice, or good sportsmanship. I said it was hilarious, priceless.

So stick that up your sanctimonious butts. :D
